  • 2 cups quick cook grits
  • 8 oz smoked Gouda cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup Half & Half
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Stir in the minced garlic and then add the quick cook grits. Cook according to package instructions until thickened.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the smoked Gouda, sharp cheddar, butter, Half & Half, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until set and golden on top.
