  • 12 tablespoons orange zest

  3. Gradually add eggs one by one, alternating with self-raising flour and milk until smooth. Fold in orange zest.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow cooling in the tin for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before icing.
