Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked turkey
  • 2 tablespoons of blackberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer two slices of cheddar cheese, followed by two slices of turkey and one tablespoon of blackberry jam.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
  5. Heat the skillet again and place the sandwiches inside. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip carefully using a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
  7. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately.
