- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked turkey
- 2 tablespoons of blackberry jam
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the turkey in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer two slices of cheddar cheese, followed by two slices of turkey and one tablespoon of blackberry jam.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Heat the skillet again and place the sandwiches inside. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip carefully using a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately.
