  • 1 large egg (for filling)

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Make the cream cheese filling by beating together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the crumb topping; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla; then mix in sour cream.
  5. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan, layer with cream cheese mixture and blueberries, top with remaining batter and crumb topping.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool before serving.
