Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 sub rolls
- 8 slices crispy turkey bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
- Form mixture into meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter).

- Slice sub rolls lengthwise and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes.

- For extra melty cheese, return subs to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes.
