  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 (20 oz) can apple pie filling (diced)
  • 1 1/2 cups toffee chips (divided)
  • 1 1/4 cups caramel sauce (divided)
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, combine both sugars; mix in melted butter and vegetable oil until blended. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while alternating with milk until combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish. Layer with apple pie filling and sprinkle with 1 cup of toffee chips. Pour remaining batter over top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven, poke holes in the top, and drizzle with caramel sauce while warm.
  8. Let cool for at least 45 minutes before topping with whipped cream and additional caramel.
