Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
- 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish (9×9-inch or 8×8-inch).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the ketchup until combined.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly in the baking dish and top with remaining ketchup. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Spread prepared mashed potatoes over the meatloaf base and top with shredded cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
