Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (for coating)
  • Flaky sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond butter, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add almond flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and sea salt; stir until combined.
  4. Roll mixture into small balls (about 1-2 tablespoons each) and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for 15 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in intervals until smooth.
  7. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the tray.
  8. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top and chill for at least one hour before serving.
