- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies
- Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until foamy. Stir in sugar, egg, yolk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt until combined.
- Knead dough until soft and slightly sticky; add blue food coloring and knead until mixed evenly. Allow to rise in a greased bowl for 1 to 1½ hours.
- Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, roll tightly into a log, and cut into 12 rolls.
