  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until golden brown (7-8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter. Sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes while scraping up browned bits.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan; mix until melted (about 5 minutes).
  5. Add Italian seasoning, sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and pepper; simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
  6. Cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain.
  7. Combine cooked chicken and tortellini with the sauce; toss well.
