Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 6 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Add the chopped turkey bacon and minced garlic; sauté until crispy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and whole milk. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning; mix until melted. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually.
  4. Fold in fresh spinach until wilted (about 2 minutes). Combine with cooked fettuccine until well coated.
