  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, sear the chicken for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add orzo and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth; bring to a simmer and cook for 8 minutes until most liquid is absorbed.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli; simmer for another 5-6 minutes until orzo is tender. Return the chicken to the pan and mix well before serving.
