  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, spaghetti, or linguine)
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh spinach (amount as desired)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Add chopped turkey bacon and sauté until crispy.
  3. Stir in chopped onion; sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth; bring to a simmer.
  5. Combine cooked pasta back into the pot along with fresh spinach. Stir well to combine all ingredients and let simmer for a few minutes before serving.
