Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for raspberry swirl)
  • A small amount of water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine raspberries, sugar, and a small amount of water. Stir until it thickens into a sauce; remove from heat and cool.
  2. In another saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips together over low heat until smooth; remove from heat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk melted chocolate with eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half the brownie batter into a greased baking dish. Spoon raspberry sauce on top and cover with remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
