Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow pasta
- 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, diced
- 1 cup sliced dill pickles
- 3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 3 tablespoons white onion, finely chopped
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Sriracha
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the elbow pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with 1/2 cup of dill pickle juice and let it marinate for 5 minutes before draining again.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, remaining dill pickle juice, Sriracha, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh dill until smooth.
- In a serving bowl, mix the marinated pasta with diced cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, chopped dill, and onion. Pour in the dressing and toss until evenly coated.
- Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
