Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fill a piping bag or ziplock bag with the batter and pipe it evenly into the donut cavities.
  6. Bake for 15–16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Brush each cooled donut with melted butter and coat in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon.
