Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds Flank steak
- 1 tablespoon Avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons Minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
- 1/2 cup Soy sauce or Coconut aminos
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3/4 cup Sugar-free granulated sweetener
- 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 5 Stems Green onions – cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon Xanthan gum
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, whisk together avocado oil, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, water, and sweetener until smooth.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef in batches for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from pan.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in xanthan gum until thickened.
- Return the beef to the skillet along with red pepper flakes and green onions; cook for an additional minute.
