Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before frosting.
  8. For frosting, whip softened butter with powdered sugar and milk until smooth; add food coloring as desired.
  9. Frost cooled cupcakes and decorate with Twizzlers.
