Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs skirt steak
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 6 tsp minced garlic
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut skirt steak to fit your skillet, then pat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the seasoned steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In another skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and stir until it begins to brown—be careful not to burn it. Transfer garlic butter to a bowl.
  4. Slice the rested steak against the grain into bite-sized pieces, pour the garlic butter over it, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
