Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon pineapple juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, pineapple juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and let simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken slightly.
