Ingredients

  • 1 lb yakisoba or linguine noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the yakisoba or linguine noodles in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a wok or large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Whisk together the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and add to the wok. Simmer briefly.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the wok and toss well to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and toss again.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
