- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread half of the sliced potatoes in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer with half of the ground beef mixture, half of the cream of mushroom soup, and half of the milk. Repeat these layers.
- Top with remaining shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
