  • 1 lb boneless beef loin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
  • Sriracha or chili garlic sauce (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix beef cubes with cornstarch, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through (6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Stir-fry bell pepper and broccoli for 2-3 minutes until softened; then add snow peas for another minute.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet with chopped green onions; mix well and heat through (1 minute).
  5. Serve over cooked rice with optional sesame seeds and sriracha.
