- 1 (11-ounce) bag of Brach’s Milk Maid caramels (unwrapped)
- 3 tablespoons water
- Optional toppings: melted white chocolate candy coating, sprinkles, chopped nuts, crushed candy
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Remove stems and insert skewers into the tops.
- Chill the prepared apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 1–2 hours.
- In a double boiler or medium pot over low heat, combine unwrapped caramels and water. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Tilt the pot and swirl each apple in the caramel until well coated; tap off excess caramel before placing back on parchment paper.
- Refrigerate dipped apples for about 30 minutes to set.
