  • 1 (11-ounce) bag of Brach’s Milk Maid caramels (unwrapped)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • Optional toppings: melted white chocolate candy coating, sprinkles, chopped nuts, crushed candy

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Remove stems and insert skewers into the tops.
  2. Chill the prepared apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 1–2 hours.
  3. In a double boiler or medium pot over low heat, combine unwrapped caramels and water. Stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Tilt the pot and swirl each apple in the caramel until well coated; tap off excess caramel before placing back on parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate dipped apples for about 30 minutes to set.
  6. Optionally dip in melted white chocolate and add desired toppings before serving.
