  • 8 small Sweet Red Apples (Fuji, Jazz, Pink Lady, or Gala)
  • 2 cups Golden Delicious Apples
  • 2 cups Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 cup Filtered Water
  • 6 pieces Medjool Dates (or maple syrup/agave)
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Wash all apples thoroughly and cut them into quarters; no need to peel.
  2. Place the quartered apples in the Instant Pot along with filtered water, Medjool dates (or chosen sweetener), spices, and salt.
  3. Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. After cooking, allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before manually releasing any remaining pressure.
  5. Blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender or transfer to a regular blender in batches.
  6. Store in clean jars once blended; refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze for longer storage.
