  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice; stir well to mix.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a floured surface until about 1/8-inch thick. Cut small circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
  4. Place half of the dough circles on a baking sheet; spoon apple filling into each circle's center.
  5. Cover with remaining circles and seal edges with a fork. Cut steam vents on top and brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
