With just a few simple ingredients and steps, you can create an impressive dessert that will leave your friends and family asking for seconds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3.4 oz/96g box vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 ½ cups (266ml) nonfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 25 Golden Oreos (or another vanilla flavored cookie/graham cracker)
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 ounces (510g) Cool Whip Topping (or fresh whipped cream)
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Allow the mixture to sit while you work on preparing the crust.
  2. Place the Golden Oreos into a large gallon-sized ziplock bag. Use a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup of cookie crumbs in a separate bowl. Add the melted butter to the remaining cookie crumbs in the bag and mix by pressing with your hands. Pour this mixture into a 9-inch square baking dish, pressing down firmly to create an even layer.
  3. Fold 8 ounces of Cool Whip topping into your prepared pudding mixture until well combined. Spread half of this pudding mixture over the cookie crust. Arrange sliced strawberries in a single layer over the pudding. Spread the remaining pudding mixture over the strawberries evenly. Top with more Cool Whip topping and sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs on top.
  4. Cover your dish with plastic wrap or foil. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow layers to set properly.
