Ingredients

  • 150 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • 30 g finely grated nutritional yeast or vegan cheese alternative
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 6 green olives (finely chopped)
  • 6 fresh basil leaves (finely chopped)
  • Sliced warm crusty bread

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 150 ml extra virgin olive oil, ½ tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp ground black pepper, ½ tsp dried oregano, and ½ tsp dried thyme until well blended.
  2. Gently stir in 30 g finely grated nutritional yeast or vegan cheese alternative, 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 6 finely chopped green olives, and 6 finely chopped fresh basil leaves.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and serve immediately with sliced warm crusty bread.
