Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (grape, strawberry, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg; mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and dollop jelly over it. Use a knife to swirl gently without fully blending.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top and repeat with more jelly swirls.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for ten minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
