Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1/2 a White Onion
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Low Carb Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Basil
- 2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
- 6 Slices Provolone Cheese
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Season 1 lb of ground beef with salt and pepper; brown it in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
- 2. In the same skillet, sauté sliced green pepper and onion in 1 Tbsp butter for about 4 minutes until browned. Set aside with the cooked beef.
- 3. Preheat your oven on broil. Add remaining butter, minced garlic, and basil to the skillet; let brown for 1 minute.
- 4. Stir in 1 Tbsp low-carb tomato sauce, 2 Tbsp heavy cream, and garlic powder; simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- 5. Return beef to the skillet, combine with veggies, top with provolone slices, and broil until cheese is melted (3-4 minutes).
