- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In an electric mixer bowl, combine pumpkin puree and butter until smooth. Add sugar and beat well; then add eggs one at a time and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients with milk until just combined.
- For the crumb topping: combine all ingredients in a bowl until small crumbs form.
- Layer half of the batter in the prepared dish, followed by half of the crumbs. Repeat with remaining batter and crumbs.
