  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In an electric mixer bowl, combine pumpkin puree and butter until smooth. Add sugar and beat well; then add eggs one at a time and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients with milk until just combined.
  5. For the crumb topping: combine all ingredients in a bowl until small crumbs form.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the prepared dish, followed by half of the crumbs. Repeat with remaining batter and crumbs.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
