  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 whole onion, diced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 14.5 ounces fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 15.5 ounces chili beans
  • 1 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons Better than Bouillon, Beef Flavored
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until halfway done. Add ground beef and brown it evenly.
  2. Stir in diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant. Add chipotle chili powder, regular chili powder, and salt.
  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes and fire-roasted tomatoes; add chili beans and mix well.
  4. Chop the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup into pieces and stir into the pot until melted.
  5. Let the chili simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
