Ingredients
- 150 g soft butter
- 450 g all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and soft butter. Work with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs; then add sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Gradually incorporate this mixture into the dry ingredients until you have a soft dough.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 2 cm thick and cut out rounds using a cookie cutter.
- Place the rounds on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
