- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper, add to skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar or broth; let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice.
- Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat in sauce, sprinkle with parsley, then serve warm with garlic bread.
