Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, add to skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar or broth; let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat in sauce, sprinkle with parsley, then serve warm with garlic bread.
