- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts (diced)
- 1 lb turkey sausage (sliced)
- 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 1 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 2 stalks celery (sliced)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the cooked rice in the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Stir in the cooked rice before serving and let it heat through.
