  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (plus more for garnish)
  • Optional: ½ cup sour cream (for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker.
  2. Place the chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and parsley.
  4. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  6. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks and mix well with the gravy.
  7. Optionally stir in sour cream before serving hot over your choice of base.
