  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 12 oz spaghetti

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into 1.5-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches and brown all sides; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes (if desired), salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Return meatballs to skillet and cover; simmer for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain well.
  6. Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and marinara sauce; garnish with grated Parmesan and parsley.
