  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • ½ cup butter, divided
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • tsps Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ cup coarse fresh breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. In a medium saucepan, cook frozen spinach with water over medium heat for about 10–15 minutes until heated through; do not drain.
  3. Stir in torn bread pieces, ½ cup butter, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt. Simmer on low heat for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted remaining butter with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan until crumbly.
  5. Lightly butter a casserole dish, pour in the spinach mixture, smooth the top, and sprinkle the breadcrumb topping evenly.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
