- 230 g glutinous rice flour
- 65 g cornstarch
- 40 g sugar
- 300 g watermelon juice (blended from watermelon)
- 30 g butter
- Cooked glutinous rice flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare the watermelon juice by blending the watermelon until smooth and straining if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, cornstarch, and sugar. Gradually stir in the watermelon juice until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a steaming dish or microwave-safe container. Steam for about 20 minutes or microwave in increments of 2 minutes until cooked through and translucent.
- Allow to cool slightly, dust your work surface with cooked glutinous rice flour, and shape the dough into small balls or discs.
- Dust each piece with more cooked glutinous rice flour before serving.
