  • 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter with cocoa powder until smooth. Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and vanilla; mix until just combined.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. For the peanut butter layer, mix together peanut butter, cooled melted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth; spread over slightly cooled brownies.
  5. Melt dark chocolate chips with heavy cream in a double boiler or microwave; drizzle over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before cutting into squares.
