- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into thick 'steaks' about ¾ inch thick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme or oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for about 25 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar cheese over each steak and return to the oven for an additional 5–7 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
