  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for the cinnamon swirl)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for the glaze)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for the glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add baking soda and salt over the mixture; then gently incorporate the flour until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and granulated sugar for the swirl.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  6. Add remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Use a knife to swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
