Ingredients
- 8 small to medium Granny Smith or Gala apples
- 8 wooden sticks
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon red gel or liquid food coloring
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3 ounces white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and insert wooden sticks into each apple.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar; stir gently until mixed.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils without stirring.
