  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, Earl Grey tea leaves, and lavender.
  3. In another bowl, beat room temperature butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  6. Drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart using a tablespoon or cookie scoop.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies.
