  • 1 liter of fruit alcohol

  • 1.2 liters spring water

Instructions

  2. Place the lemon zest in a glass bottle and cover with alcohol. Seal tightly and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for one month, shaking occasionally.
  3. After one month, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a clean container.
  4. In a saucepan, combine sugar with water and heat until dissolved; let it cool before mixing with the strained alcohol.
  5. Transfer the combined mixture into the original bottle, seal tightly, and allow it to rest for ten days before serving chilled.
