Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1 rounded tablespoon sweet or smoked paprika
- 1/2–1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, to your taste
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 6 tablespoons cold salted butter, cubed
- 8–12 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Juice from 1–2 lemons
- Chili sauce, for serving
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or avocado oil mayo
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne or cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and toss with flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook shrimp until pink (about 2 minutes each side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until golden. Add shrimp back into the skillet.
- Toss everything together for another 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
- Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauce or sides.
