Ingredients

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Lemon Verbena Syrup
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3 oz (90 ml) Sparkling Apple Cider
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Soda Water
  • 3 to 4 Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon Slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using homemade syrup, simmer equal parts water and sugar with lemon verbena leaves for about 5 minutes. Cool and strain.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, add lemon verbena syrup and fresh lemon juice, then toss in torn lemon verbena leaves.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds until chilled and well-mixed.
  4. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Top with sparkling apple cider and soda water, then stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of lemon verbena.
