- 1 lb Ground Turkey (93% lean)
- 3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Feta Cheese (crumbled)
- 1 Red Onion (finely minced)
- 2–3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Dill
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 medium Persian Cucumber (grated and drained)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, egg, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, dill, and cumin. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- While baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt with grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Once the meatballs are done, serve warm with tzatziki sauce on the side or drizzled over top.
