  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • Juice of 2 limes (about 4 tablespoons)

  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • Liquid from a can of chipotles in adobo
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker and top with sliced onions and minced garlic.
  2. Pour the beef broth and lime juice over the meat.
  3. Sprinkle all spices over the roast.
  4. Add the liquid from the chipotles in adobo on top.
  5. Insert the bay leaves into the mixture.
