Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased loaf pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the glaze: Mix granulated sugar with lemon juice and warm water; drizzle over cooled bread.
